What You’ll Learn
Throughout this comprehensive course from A1 to B1, you will:
Develop Essential Communication Skills: Start by learning basic phrases and expressions to introduce yourself, ask questions, and hold simple conversations. As you progress, you’ll be able to discuss everyday topics such as family, hobbies, and shopping with increased confidence and accuracy.
Master Italian Grammar and Structure: Understand and apply foundational grammar rules, including present, past, and future tenses. At the A1 level, you’ll get acquainted with simple sentence formation, articles, and verb conjugations. Moving into A2 and B1, you’ll tackle more complex structures such as the use of irregular verbs, reflexive pronouns, conditional sentences, and the subjunctive mood.
Enhance Listening and Speaking Skills: Practice listening to native speakers through a variety of audio and video materials. Start with slow-paced, clearly articulated conversations at the A1 level and progress to faster, more natural dialogues at the B1 level. Participate in speaking exercises that simulate real-life interactions to build fluency and spontaneous language use.
Expand Your Vocabulary: Learn key vocabulary related to everyday activities, travel, food, health, technology, and more. Progress from basic word recognition and short phrases to understanding and using phrases with idiomatic expressions and nuanced meanings appropriate for B1 speakers.
Improve Reading Comprehension: Read progressively challenging texts, from simple sentences and dialogues to short stories, articles, and simplified literature. Gain the ability to identify main ideas and details in written materials and respond to questions that check comprehension.
Develop Writing Proficiency: Begin with writing simple sentences and short paragraphs in A1 and A2 stages. By the time you reach B1, you’ll be able to draft coherent emails, descriptive paragraphs, and brief essays. This prepares you to express thoughts clearly in written Italian, whether it’s for personal communication or formal purposes.
Cultural Insights and Real-Life Contexts: Throughout the course, you will not only learn the language but also explore Italian culture, customs, and traditions. Understand cultural nuances that influence how Italians communicate, giving you a deeper appreciation and a practical edge when using the language in real settings.
Confidence in Everyday Situations: Gain the ability to handle common scenarios, such as ordering in a restaurant, asking for directions, making hotel reservations, and engaging in small talk. At the B1 level, you’ll be prepared to handle unexpected changes or more complex social interactions with ease.
