Italian is an interesting and cultured language, considered as the language of medieval thinkers, possessing a conceptual richness in varied fields. It is one of the official languages of the European Union, the official language in Italy (its country of origin), Switzerland, San Marino, Vatican City, Malta and in some areas of Croatia and Slovenia. That is why it is not surprising that it results interesting both for adults, as for young people.

Such is the case of Eduardo Riedel, a 19-year-old Honduran young man who decided to enter an Italian university, and thanks to the correct presentation of his application, plus the completion of the Italian CILS C1 certification at our headquarters in Tegucigalpa-Honduras , he managed to be admitted to the university he wanted without an entrance exam.

Eduardo shares his experience in the following interview

Why did you decide to study Italian?

Upon hearing about the university opportunities in Italy, I decided to immerse myself in the language. Italy not only has university opportunities, it also has a plethora of fashion and design cultural opportunities in Milan and history and art in Rome and Florence.

What do you like most about this language?

I love the musicality and rhythm that are formed when speaking. I like when there are double consonants and when certain syllables are emphasized. Without a doubt, a beautiful language.

How do you rate the teachers?

All the teachers knew what they were doing. They knew the language to the right and the other way around. Therefore I encourage you to know more about this language through them.

How did you manage your time between working and / or studying and studying Italian? I had a deadline to learn Italian (6 months to be exact); I had to sacrifice a lot of my time. I definitely think it was not in vain. He lived, talked, listened, ate, and even dreamed in Italian. What opportunities have you obtained in learning Italian?

This language helps me to clear up many doubts about the Italian culture in general. And I have managed to make several friends, who share the language with me. How did you notice the Italian courses?  friend recommended them and I did not hesitate to sign up to learn with Dante In Linea.

What recommendations would you give to other students who want to learn Italian? Do not worry about grammar, talk more and listen carefully. The Italian language, as Eduardo told us, will open the doors to work in different companies of great recognition.

For its economy focused mainly on: tourism, the automotive industry and fashion. So if you work or want to work in any of these sectors, you will need at some point in your life to have notions of Italian.
