Overview
Our Italian Language Teaching Program is anchored in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR.)
Our courses are organized into six levels of proficiency each of them with particular communicative competencies in linguistic, socio-linguistic, and pragmatic.
Further, they are subdivided into sub-groups according to expected knowledge, skills, and existential competencies for levels.
Our A1 course is designed carefully structured to teach you essential expressions for everyday interactions and fundamental needs.
In all our classes we will work on reception (listening and reading), production (spoken and written), interaction (spoken and written), and mediation (interpreting).

How do I Register?
Please send us this registration Form https://danteinlinea.com/en/registration-form/ to create your personal access to the Dante in Linea Platform. We will send you within 12 hours, an email with your personal access.
Registration and Payment
Students can choose between two payment methods for group classes:
- Monthly payment: Two monthly payments of $405
- One-time payment: Make a one-time payment, which is equivalent to $756. This payment covers the full 10 weeks.

Course Modifications
Dante in Linea reserves the right to make modifications to the course program, schedules, or teachers, in order to guarantee the best possible educational experience. In case of major changes, students will be notified in advance.
What I will learn?
During this course you will learn the basics of the Italian language, with emphasis on speaking and listening skills in an everyday context. Topics that are covered include:
- asking and giving personal details (nationality, profession, languages & spare time);
- greetings and farewells;
- counting up to 100;
- spelling;
- applying the grammar knowledge (including articles, presente e passato prossimo indicativo of regular and irregular verbs);
- vocabulary);
- (near native) pronunciation.
In addition, you will be able to understand and write simple texts. You will also have a small vocabulary with which you can formulate simple sentence structures for common and everyday situations. The final level of the course is A1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
How do I know which level I'am at ??
If you’re unsure about your current level, we recommend taking our placement test before booking your lessons. This ensures you start at the right level for your skills.
Will I earn a certification?
Participants who attend and actively participate in the course will receive a certificate of achievement from Dante in Linea. Please note that this certificate may not be valid for the Citizenship application: You will have to take an official certification test. You can do this with us as we are home to CILS certifications.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations
- For one-time payments: The one-time payment with 35% discount is non-refundable. If the student decides not to continue, no refunds will be granted and the course will not be cancelled once the payment has been made.
- For monthly payments: If the student decides not to continue with the course after the first month and before making the second payment, he/she will be responsible for paying the difference of the total cost of the weeks already taken without the discount. The total cost for first payment without discount will be $540, which means that the student must pay the corresponding difference of $135
Refund policy
No refunds will be granted for payments already made, except in cases where Dante in Linea is unable to continue offering the course for reasons attributable to the institution.
